WHAT YOU WILL DO:

 

The Quality Technical Administrator supports the Quality Department by maintaining documentation, managing quality data systems, coordinating audits, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements. This role serves as a key administrative and technical liaison among Quality, Operations, Engineering, and external stakeholders, ensuring accurate recordkeeping, reporting integrity, and continuous improvement in the manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and control quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, forms, and specifications.
  • Manage document revisions and ensure version control in accordance with ISO or internal quality standards.
  • Maintain calibration records, inspection logs, and compliance documentation.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze quality data (scrap, rework, first-pass yield, customer complaints, etc.).
  • Generate weekly and monthly quality performance reports.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to closure.
  • Assist with maintaining supplier quality records and certifications.
  • Coordinate quality meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects.

 

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

 

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or quality environment required.
  • Experience supporting ISO or AS quality systems strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with ERP systems and quality management systems (QMS).
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
